Could Use Your Good Thoughts

The last few weeks have been very hard. In fact, make that the last few years. It began with my oldest brother’s cancer diagnoses almost three years ago, and his passing on October 10, 2010. Then on November 10, 2011 I had found out that my biological father had passed away from congestive heart failure at the age of 65.

And now, this year, it’s our puppy Harley. She may be 13 years old, but she will always be a puppy to me. One day last week, we woke up and she couldn’t move. There was no stability in any of her limbs, and literally overnight she seemed to be paralyzed. The doctors think she had some sort of spinal injury, or maybe even a stroke. It’s hard to determine. After several vet visits and medical prescriptions, we’re waiting to see if she can bounce back.

Dear Lord, please help our sweet little girl heal. Any to anyone reading, your thoughts and positive wishes would be so amazingly appreciated.
